Lock-Crete™ products provides highly effective solutions that have stood the test of time, saving you Time and Money.
It is worth mentioning, that all of our products should be installed by a Lock-Crete™ trained applicator and if this is not possible then we suggest that we are contact us to arrange training and correct installation procedure advice to ensure the maximum result for the end user.
The most cost effective way to apply our material is at the time of pour as this saves any cost associated with preparation if applied at a later date.
“Lock-Crete P” should be applied as soon as the concrete is hard enough to walk on with out damage to the surface. Material should be applied at one quart per 42 Square Feet. After 24 hours or longer have elapsed, then “Lock-Crete S” must be applied by Hi Pressure spray ( 1500 psi ) at one quart per 42 Square Feet to ensure correct penetration is achieved.
In direct sunlight and very hot situations, it is advisable to apply a fine mist spray of water on the surface to help alleviate premature chemical reaction to take place before achieving maximum penetration.
For existing concrete, care must be taken to ensure that any curing membranes, laitance, plaster or any other deleterious materials are removed from the surface by mechanical means as mentioned in our installation procedures on the product label.
After 24 hrs, preferably 48 hrs, preparation can proceed for levelling cements or final surface finish. The only certified adhesive is Spray-Lock™. It is imperative that installers should follow all preparation and installation procedures as per the manufacturers instructions.
I hope this is sufficient for your requirements and offer any assistance that you.
You may be assured that no effort will be spared in giving efficient service in every respect.
